    ORDERS

    Delivering truffle to your door

    ​

    We will work with you to determine the most efficient way to deliver our freshly harvested truffle to your door.

     

    Our working week has a rhythm where we harvest early in the week and ship to you via courier, an air express company or a combination of the two, usually on Tuesday or Wednesday so that you will receive your order on Thursday or Friday.

    ​

    At this stage, we deliver within Australia.

    ​

    We do require payment upfront and account details will be provided once you place an order. Pricing is based on current market rates which vary according to truffle grade.

     

    Truffles are classified according to aroma, size, texture and wholeness. Please call us to enquire about grades and price. If you are ordering large quantities, call us to discuss cost efficiencies of bulk purchase.

    ​Before shipping, truffle is weighed on a precision scale, vacuum packed with a moisture absorbent pad and placed with cold packs in a sealed insulated box for transport.

     

    Our truffles are shipped at 3 percent over the charged weight as they lose a little weight due to loss of moisture in transit.

    ​

    It is important to maintain integrity of the cold chain throughout the shipping process. Upon receiving a truffle order, the truffle should be wrapped in paper towel and stored in a lidded glass container in a refrigerator. The paper towel should be changed daily. Use your truffle as soon as possible to capitalise on the freshness and quality of a gourmet product.

    Our aim is to please you, our customer, with a quality product and prompt service but we cannot – much as we would like to – control those things beyond our control: major storms, airport closures and other events that may conspire to prevent efficient delivery. Please extend your patience and understanding if this should occur and we will work it out together.

    We are relying on you, our customer, to inform us as early as possible, if there are any delivery or other issues. We want to keep your custom and if the situation requires that we refund or replace your order, we will do so.
