2. Product Information

Silverwood Truffles produces premium Black Truffles (Tuber melanosporum) grown in Manjimup, Western Australia.
-
All truffles are seasonal (June–August) and supplied fresh via local pickup or arranged delivery.

As a natural product, each truffle may vary in shape, size, or appearance. This does not affect quality or flavour.

Truffles are available in limited weekly allocations; availability is confirmed by phone or email.

Customers are responsible for ensuring they store truffles correctly once collected.

3. Ordering & Payment

All inquiries or orders must be made via email or phone.

Orders are confirmed once a Silverwood Truffles representative responds and agrees to allocate product.

Payment is accepted via bank transfer, card over the phone, or in person at pickup.

Prices are quoted in AUD and include GST (where applicable).

Availability is limited, and allocation is first-come, first-served.
4. Pickup & Delivery

Pickup is available at Silverwood Truffles farm in Manjimup.

Local delivery may be arranged within Western Australia, subject to availability.

Fresh truffles are highly perishable; Silverwood Truffles is not responsible for improper storage after collection or delivery.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup/delivery information.
5. Farm Visits, Visitors, and Contractors:
To protect the farm, truffle crops, and comply with WA biosecurity regulations:
5.1 Permission to Enter

No person is permitted to enter the property without prior arrangement or approval from Silverwood Truffles.

All visitors, contractors, and suppliers must comply with farm biosecurity and safety procedures.
5.2 Biosecurity & Hygiene Requirements

Visitors may be required to:

Wear clean footwear or provided shoe covers

Use hand sanitiser or wash hands before entering sensitive areas

Avoid bringing in soil, plant material, or pets
-

Visitors must not enter truffle orchard areas without supervision.
5.3 Health & Safety

Visitors must follow all instructions given by farm personnel.

Children must be supervised at all times.

Silverwood Truffles reserves the right to refuse entry to anyone not complying with safety or biosecurity protocols.
5.4 Liability

Visitors enter at their own risk.

Silverwood Truffles is not responsible for personal injury or property damage unless caused by negligence of farm personnel.

6. Returns & Refunds

Due to the perishable nature of truffles, returns are not accepted for change of mind.

Australian Consumer Law (ACL) provides a right to a replacement or refund if the product:

Is significantly different from the description, or
-
Is not of acceptable quality, or
-
Arrives damaged or unsafe.

Any issues must be reported within 24 hours of pickup or delivery, with supporting photographs.

Refunds are not offered for products stored incorrectly after pickup.
7. Liability Limitation

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Silverwood Truffles’ liability is limited to replacement or refund of the truffle product.

Silverwood Truffles is not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
8. Governing Law
-
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Western Australia.

Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Western Australian courts.
